Trance and hypnosis explained ...

Trance or hypnosis is a relaxed, focused state of attention.

Most people experience hypnosis while they are in a physically and mentally relaxed state. Until recently it was assumed that it was similar to sleep, or that the mind was somehow unconscious. In reality, there is a specific state that the brain enters into when it is receptive to suggestion, when the conscious "critical" mind relaxes, and in doing so, allows access to the powerful and goal achieving unconscious mind. It is this area where deepest memories, both of this life events as well as past life memories and soul memories are located. It is not an unusual state of mind, and may feel like you are not in a trance, or in hypnosis. For most people they simply feel relaxed. There is a change in the brain wave activity, similar to that time just before sleep when the alpha state is entered. Your brain's waking state is a beta brain wave, just as you are going to sleep it changes to alpha and then to delta and theta in deep sleep. The alpha state is a very dreamy, pleasant state. During this time the mind is very open to visualizations and creating a rich sensory experience. The more real the experience becomes in the subconscious mind during this state, the more effect it will have on your waking behavior.

Hypnosis is a normal state of mind, one which most people go in and out of many times every day. When you are watching a film or television programme that you are engrossed in, or driving down a long monotonous road, or listening to music that captures a mood or engrosses you, you are in hypnosis. We experience hypnosis every day and don't even know it. In fact, everybody on earth experiences hypnosis. If you can go to sleep, you can experience hypnosis, that is because you have to pass through the state of somnambulism (working state of hypnosis for therapeutic purposes) before entering sleep, so the minumim is twice a day, on waking and on sleeping. When you are in a guided hypnotic trance session you are in a working state of hypnosis with a specific purpose in mind. For LBL work a deep state of trance is required so that you can get close to and uncover very deep soul memories, memories that are always with you, but that you are not aware of during normal waking activity.

Clients experience trance during LBL as a combination of physical and mental relaxation, followed by a guided journey that progressively deepens the trance state so that you are more focused, more concentrated but completely relaxed and open. In this way you can connect with and uncover those deepest spiritual memories and bring them up to conscious awareness during the LBL session.
