The Michael Newton Institute for life between lives hypnotherapy is the only authentic organisation that trains, examines and certifies practitioners in this therapy. It is a 'not for profit' organisation registered in the USA devoted to the promotion and furtherance of Michael Newton's pioneering work.

LBL is a technique that was pioneered by Dr Michael Newton and is a method of deep hypnotic regression that allows an individual to access a state of consciousness where they can recall their life as a soul, the 'between life state'. Dr Newton facilitated over 7000 LBL regressions with clients during his extensive career and built up a fascinating and compelling picture of the spirit world from the information recounted during the sessions. His books, Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls summarise his research work with individual clients to allow readers to take their own journey through the eyes of those clients. Dr Newton found that the spirit world, far from being a sort of state of limbo where we await rebirth is, in fact, a place of great order, justice and love. In this 'between life state' souls reconnect with their personal guide or teacher, meet back with their close soul companions, work hard on their life lessons, develop their skills and plan their next incarnations. Souls experience the unconditional love that surrounds them in this place as they learn and grow and perfect themselves.

Therapists who are listed on his site have completed a training programme in Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy from the Michael Newton Institute for Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy (TNI for short). Certification is conferred on trained therapists after further rigorous post training study and practise.

Past life work is usually a prerequisite for a successful LBL journey. However, each therapist works in their own unique way, many are skilled in other spiritual forms such as channelling and clairvoyance, so please ask your therapist about preparation and how you can become skilled with the desired trance states for LBL work.
